Jim, with all respect, I was talking about spool-up not full boost and midrange power

On the other hand - I'd go GT3540 if I was to give up on low end torque, but I'm not yet ready to do that

you got a big balancing act ahead of you to get it tuned properly. In about a month or more when you get it back and ready for the track then we can talk. I wouldnt be surprised if it is three months til you got that thing properly tuned and built bug free...thus being ready to run at the track. no streetport? well that will hurt ya quite a bit. I bet your car will put down about 360 rwhp at that boost with those twins and no streetport. every once in a while you get a car like JD's or Stephens who put down big numbers but they have one thing in common...great tuning.(both were at 400rwhp on twins) most..even with tuning ...dont hit those numbers. Expect at least mid 300's at the very least if compression is good. - J

You'd be surprised how many people with enough horsepower to run 11s... don't. Practice is the key. Well, practice and a good set of slicks.

Heck, Eric Cheatham has eleventy-billion horsepower in his 1,500 lb. FD and still hasn't managed to break into the 11s as far as I've heard...

Get a good set of slicks and you'll cut your practice time in half

A set of slicks may cut the difference between what you could run and what you are running in half, but you'll still have to work hard to get the rest of the potential out of the car.

Yeah, BS on the 480hp claim. More like ~380. I vote for low 12's maybe 11's with slicks(and no broken axels, diff, or ppf). Like eveyone has said, it really depends on the driver too.
