Guage installation?
Well im about to go pick up my boost guage from the local shop in about 30 min. Ordered it yesterday. My questions is....is it very simple to install? Im not mechanically challenged but ive just never done it before. I tried using the search on here and got about 60 some posts...i looked through about 80% of them and just found nothing really. What line do i T into? And should i drill through the firewall or go through the rubber boot? I'm sorry if this has been discuessed but i tried looking and i even went to rx7turboturbo.com and didnt find a boost guage installation....maybe i didnt look hard enough but if there's a link to any helpful hints i would appreciate it. Hell i might be really easy and i might not even need this thread but im doing it to be safe and so i would get really mad and go nuts. Thanks guys

I'd go through the fire wall. There are a few boots to choose from. To tap it, just use the spare nipple on the passenger side of the Upper Intake Manifold. It has a black cap un it.

It will read accurately off that nipple on the intake manifold, it was put there for techs to use in the shop during troubleshooting. Just run the hose through the rubber boot around the steering column, very easy to poke through and enough room to work with it.
