there is a large gage ground (black/yellow stripe i think) that bolts to a plate by the A/C bracket. Is that the one you mean?

Something that I've always thought is if it is a ground wire then is just goes anywhere that will ground it out. I think I have been putting mine between the housing and bracket for the ignition coils.

Sorry I was talking about the one on the main harness around the oil pressure sender. I think Gadd was correct in saying it goes where the AC/PS bracket bolts to the motor. There will be 2 bolts/nuts that run up and down along the front plate and just put it on one of those.

Unless you are talking about the one that bolts to the ignition coils bracket?

I guess it could be that one too. Regardless, just find somewhere that isnt too far and ground it.

no no. that is not the driver side harness. the only thing about bolting the gropund onto the ac bracket is it doesnt really look like i can reach a wrench down into there..

Sounds like the one that bolts under the Rats nest (solenoid brackets). That's where the coils mount to. At least the two engines I tore down grounded there.
