the plastic green piece on the cable latch to pop the hood broke on my 94 rx7 do i need to get a new cable or just replace that piece? thank you for any help. i have read other posts but it never said what to replace.

 

You just buy a new cable, they are not expensive. Rig something up temporarily so you can open your hood until you install the new cable.

 

yah you need to buy a brand new cable i think.. mine broke and I ended up using a clothes hanger to open the hood, it got pretty easy with some practice
