With enough $$ and motivation it is possible to make pretty much anything fit. Talk to the shop you are buying the parts from and if they can't say 'Yes we know that fits.' consider not buying it or buying it from another shop that knows more about what they are selling you.

Yes it does.
You must take off the brackets that hold the 2 together. Then I had to cut the rear turbo intake jose down a few inches to get the filter to fit in with the IC tube that is there. The Primary turbo filter has to point towards the drivers side of the enginebay. It is a tight fit in there especially if you have a KOYO like the car i put it in. ( Don't know if all trhe other Rads. have the same issue.)
Post your e-mail and I will send you some pics of how I got it to fit.... I went off of ShinobiX's car. He posted about this a LONG time ago. So it might not even be on the search history anymore.
Hope this helps some.

EDIT: Holy crap I must type slow!! Also I did it differently than the link Mahjik posted. I like that way better than the way i did it It is a little better fit.

Please any pics of the apexi air intakes with fmic would help me out. I'm doing the work myself so there is no shop to talk to about the installation. The car is not registered for me to even take it anywhere.

My intake piping fits PERFECT. My secret is for the secondary turbo inlet pipe, I have a polished aluminum pipe (semi S-shaped) meant for a newer 300ZX and then I have the stock primary turbo inlet pipe, both with K&N cone filters. I had this setup before I installed the Greddy FMIC, and was having doubts if it would fit. When it came time to put them back on I almost starting crying. The fitment is perfect. My friend bought the intake pipe off ebay for his Z, but have since purchased it from him. I'll post pics sometime.
