greddy profec b boost problem

recently rebuilt engine running apexi pfc and greddy profec b controller with external wastegate.only boosting to about .7 bar and was set to 1.1 bar previously.suspect the solenoid on the profec might be sticking or faulty..
does anyone know shd it make a clicking sound at the solenoid with ignition on or only when under boost

I would look for boost leaks rather than worry about the wastegate controller.

have checked for loose pipes ..not many as running single and fmic..wld putting a manual bleed valve in place of solenoid be a good test..with the bleed valve set for low boost of course..can someone explain how the controller and solenoid work in conjubction with the wastegate

with power to the solenoid, pressurize the line to the solenoid and the solenoid should cycle

think i found the prob..split in the hose from the solenoid connection to the wastegate..blew into the pipe and felt little or no resistance guess it shd have been under pressure and moved the hose and it split.was obscured by the thermotek heat sleeve
