greddy gauge problem, did it happen to you?

ok, i have a problem with my exhaust temp greddy gauge.

when the car is cold, the needle is jumping. When the car is hot, it doesn't make it.

anyone know what could it be? it started doing this 2 weeks ago and the guage is only 2 months old.

thanks a lot

My water temp gauge used to do this. It ran too close to a hot zone on the engine and shorted the wires together. When it was cold, it would separate...check the WHOLE wire and be sure that it's not contacting ANY metal, and that it's in good condition
