FWIW, Rx7 Store's Jason and Zavier did my FMIC install, and a bunch of other mods. They know what they're doing! See my sig for mods, or visit their Rx7Store.Net, installs...

Just so you know, the instructions suck ***...I really feel it for those who got it in Japanese. It's like pseudo instructions

1. Take off bumper
2. Trim Bumper & Rebar
3. Replace Power Steering Line with provided one
4. Relocate AC condensor and Radiator. Be sure to mount the brackets as show in this terrible photo one of our Jap engineers drew.
5. Mount the Intercooler
6. Orient the pipes in the directions show...
7. Mount the bumper
8. Refil Fluids and go enjoy yourslef.

Be sure to get all your brackets turned in the right direction

This
site will help because it's got some amazing photos...Would be a good idea to print them unless you have wireless internet on a laptop by the car.

Are you doing all the work yourself? After your T-78 install who's doing your tuning?

Good luck dude...want to see it when you are done...

Another tip...The bracket that your passenger side Apexi intake mounted to (the one right below below the relays) can be used to mount your AST. I did it and it works great.

Jason, I got your fax of the instructions. But they don't have a page listing the parts. Do you have a page that tells me what number each part is? The instructions refer to the brackets by part#.Thanks,

Brady

I think I will have RP in Dallas do the Dyno tuning for me. I can get a map from a friend to get me by until I can get my car down there.

Thanks Jason, I wasn't really talking about a specific bracket. I haven't started on it yet. I am taking the pipe to have my BOV adapter welded on tomorrow. My car is my daily driver so I really can't tear it apart until I have everything together. After I get the welding done I will tackle the intercooler job. If you will please fax that page over in the morning. Do you still have my fax#? I have been studing the pages you faxed over Friday evening. I really appreciate your help.

Cool.
Send me an email in the morning to remind me. I will forget otherwise
If you have any questions when installing it give me a call. I have installed a bunch of them and can help out.

Hey Brad,
Since your car is your daily driver you should try and have a friend help you...even if they don't know anything...it will make it go faster.

Yeah, I have already voluntered my little brother to help me. He just doesn't know it yet. He loves my car as much as I do so I am pretty sure he will be glad to help.
I just hope I can get the welding done today.

I am almost finished installing this thing in my car. This kit will work on an auto just in case anybody was wondering. On the auto you have trans coolant running through the bottom of the radiator too.

You can make the piping work for the t78. You just have to cut the two pipes to make them fit. Worked out really well.

Did anyone have any problems making their hood prop work or is it just the center vent on my scoot hood getting in the way?

HEy Brady, just posting what I sent you via e-mail since I thought it may help someone else with this prob.

At first I did but then you have to loosen up the hose clamp on the pipe that's going to that drivers side of the IC (the big fat coupler) and push the pipe further down towards the intercooler...I had to do quite a bit of massaging to get it to fit ....After that it fits nicely but still close...The pipe coming from the greddy elbow needs to be flat...it has two bends, one bend close to the pipe that's on the IC and then another bend before it goes into the greddy elbow coupler...when it's inplace make sure that bend closest to the IC isn't sticking up at all as it will rub on the hood and cause the hood prop to not fit properly...however I did bend mine a bit before all the massaging...Hope this makes some sense to you..

This web site says it is easiest to reach the highest nut out of the three under the headlight by removing the headlight cover, but I found it alot easier to just reach inside the car and push that little button and make them raise up. Then you have perfect easy access to these nuts.

Yeah, after I removed the covers I realized that too...I got all three from behind the fender with a small ratchet and a long extension...Man, I wish I had a garage where I could open my own RX-7 shop...
