Greddy FMIC install

Hey everyone,

I'm currently in the process of installing my Greddy 2row. This subject's been covered several times before, and I did a lot of searches, but I still have some questions.

I already checked out Tom94RX7's site (http://czfitnessproducts.com/tom94RX...tall_Pictures/), but he got rid of his AC, so he didnt have to deal with relocating that. I also checked out Nocab's site, since that's what everyone used before, but it's currently down. I PM'ed Nocab directly, but still no response.

Soooo, my question is. How do I relocate the AC condensor? Does it end up sitting completely vertical behind the radiator?

And also, what am I supposed to do with the PS hard line? I know Greddy gave me a replacement one, but I read some people didn't have to use it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I assume you mean the AC condenser, in my case its mounted horizontal with the tray removed. Up there were you are I would mount it in front of the radiator like the stock setup.

Yah I read others doing the same thing as you with the AC condensor located horizontally.

According to the Greddy instructions, are you supposed to locate it in front of the rad at a slight angle?

Mine is in there in the stock location. Just have to pull and bend a little.

I know your position on this and your first hand experience with road hazards. My local tuner has built many FD's with setup with no problem and the cars run cooler. My setup works like stock in traffic and I have none of the FMIC overheating issue with no additional ducting. Highway temps on a hot Florida day are lower than the stock setup.

When and if my scoot style hood arrives I'm going to see if we convert it to V-mount setup and get the undertray back on the car. I hate the lag associated with FMIC setup and the attention that it draws.

To directly answer the question it works and from what I've read here better than most other FMIC setups albeit with some risk.

In a lot of the engine bay pics I've seen, no one uses the rad relocation brackets that come with the kit.

I guess it doesn't fit with a thicker rad, since my relay box won't fit between the frame and the rad. I'll have to fab up my own.
