I am in the process of installing a front mount IC and using the greddy elbow. I have noticed a nipple coming off the stock elbow and there is not one on the greddy. Is this the automatic warm up if so can I block it off. Please let me know what to do.

block it off, that's what I did(I don't have the greddy elbow), but the stock plastic piece is blocked off and the part that it connects to is blocked off as well

 

That's part of the Acclerated Warm Up System (AWS), the thing that revs the engine up to 3K right after you start it. A lot of people block it off even with the stock elbow. I think there are a few other things that you can remove if you disable it too.
