Smile hi, i'm new here. I'd like some info.

hi, i'm planning on getting a 3rd gen rx-7 in the next 6 months. Could u guys give me some info about problems i might run into once i get one, and what to look for when buying one? Also, how durable are the engines? how much boost can a stock motor handle?
if u guys know a website that will tell me everything about the rx-7 and modifying it, that would be great.
Thanks.

the engine is as relible as how you mod it. if you upgrade the fuel and computer as you up the boost, its gonna last longer but ya gotta remember, a nonturbo rotary will put out about 130 hp and the stock turbos are already doubling the hp. if you try to get 400-500 hp out of it , it does not take rocket scientist to see that its gonna wear more and something has got to go eventually. stock fuel injectors will problally support up to 12 psi of boost i think. i personnaly did not buy my fd for drag, (i dont think it was ever ment for it, you should get a supra for that) i bought mines to handle in the corners. its light weight + suspension will kick the **** out of almost anything else out there!

on a side note, a porshe carrea tried following me up a very curvy road but could not seem to keep up. not sure if it was him or the car. oh well
