Ok so im thinking of picking up a Greddy e-manage for my rx7.The question to you guys would have to be (Is this a good unit to tweak the air fuel ratios with? Can this thing be dyno tuned ? Main thing would have to be where did you buy yours from and who tuned it for you?
Any info on this would be very helpfull.Thanx guys.

Many people have had success with that unit. I haven't heard of many fd users tuning with it, but yes it can be dyno tuned. Where to get it is just a matter of searching and where to get it tuned would probably be best answered in your region specific forum.

looks like I will have to do some more research on the subject
I just dont want to lose the hold feature.Mind you i would only lose the hold ability for the first gear.Since it still would work for the other gears even without the hold feature turned on.

My friends together have 3 WRXs, 2 have e-manage that after tunning (and more boost ofcourse) have gotten them 75hp, but thats ofcourse the WRX which well is no where near maxed out stock. Us on the other hand have to worry about these stupid injectors that after 80% duty cycle you have to worry about hurting them (thats every injector anyways).

Don't bother buying the e-manage. E-manage + FD3S = junk.

get a haltech, not only will it control your stall, it has enough programmable pulse width modules (PWM's) that you could easily find one that will control the hold function

Get a PowerFC. It covers over 90% of most users needs. Plenty of support.

GREAT WRITE-UP

Here's a great, very complete write up about installing and tuning the e-Manage on a rotary. It's for the RX-8 but I guess it can be adapted to the 3rd gen.

Hit the e-manage yahoo group, I am sure there is a write up there for the 7, if not search in yahoo for Mohd parts he might have a write up also. And he has the cheapest prices you can find.

Don't know how well they do on the 7, but it works magic on my Impreza.
