Greddy differential cover?

This one sneaked in under my radar -

http://www.trust-power.com/06new/e20...04_greddy.html

Diff cover for the FD. From the description, adds 1000cc capacity and has bosses for plumbing in a differential cooler.

This site -
http://shop.store.yahoo.com/import-s...aredicofo.html

has one for the SR with pics, and I imagine the FD version would be of similar design. Street price is about $250-280 for the SR version, which seems to be similarly priced.

I dug around, and the ONLY mention of the FD cover was on Trust Japan's new product list.

There was a discussion about a diff cover within the past week or so. I really don't know what this would give you, or what applications would really need it. But, it's cool nonetheless, and it's good to see Greddy making new FD products.

That describes about 90% of the stuff discussed on this board. "I don't know what it is and I don't know what it does and I don't know why I would need it but it sure is cool"

Hehe, true . Too bad it doesn't have blinking LED lights that move with the music!

I wonder if it would be good for serious road racing use. But, it seems like most of the diff failures I've heard of were from drag racing, and that was just good ol' mechanical breakage, not overheating the bearings or gears.

They had a sample of the diff cover in the Greddy booth at SEMA.
