It fits..
It's a very tight fit. I had to remove the IC piping, install the lower intake, then put the piping back over top of it, pushing down on the intake while doing so. In the end, the intake is actually resting against the IC piping.

Are you talking about the metal bracket on the intake that mounts onto the car? It mounts onto the fender and lines up with something else that is already in that spot. Another piece of metal. My car is in the shop so I can't take another picture. But I slipped the bracket behind the metal piece on the fender and mounted it there. It's some black, flat piece of metal with a tab on it if I remember correctly.
edit**Looking at it from the front, the bracket should be at about a 7-8 o'clock angle with the intake installed.

Ahh. my bad. The lower has that bracket that goes straight down and mounts on the cross member. It should go stright below the intake and will line up with a pre-existing hole, or at least mine did.

Ok......how did you make the lower intake fit properly with a Greddy FMIC? Did you use both the metal pipe and that rubber elbow thing along with the stock plastic elbow? I am simply using the stock plastic elbow with the rubber elbow attached to it and the intake attached to it....it works, but a rubber intake seems kind of dumb. And if I even think of using the metal pipe as well, my intake would have to be inside of my radiator to fit. Pics would be awesome. Thanks.

Scott, I capped off mine on the intake since they were no longer needed. I just used some pretty thick rubber caps. As far as fitment goes, it's a tight fit, I won't argue that. My lower intake actually touches one of the couplers. Here's a pic:
The lower intake just uses the small black elbow if I remember right. I'd go outside and look but my boss might wonder what I'm doing

Mine just looks like it would hit the upper radiator hose if it were out any farther. I did just cap off those metal pipes though.....but my lower intake filter fell off yesterday...because I am simply tightening a rubber coupler onto a rubber pipe...so it never really gets tight...just flat. I will post a pic of how mine looks....amybe you can point out something I did wrong.
Thanks,
Scott
