Greddy 2-Row FMIC with 99 Bumper pics please
Im interested in how well the Greddy 2 Row fits with the 99 front bumper as im about to do both possibly. I am debating the Intercoolers at this point. I am thinking of this or a V-Mount. Just looking at the FMIC as it would be easier to install. If anyone has some pics of this combo can you post them also. Thanx

haha, Phil I didnt know that was the Greddy in your black one. ah well I guess I know what it looks like now. How well did it fit behind the bumper? Did you have to cut anything at all?
Also what kind of temps where you getting in traffic and what radiator did you run with it. Sorry for all the questions just the temps is what I always heard was the problem with front mounts. I have a PWR radiator now so that would help.

theres some fmic threads that have a lot more info on water temps. try searchin that out.
u will not have to cut the bumper.
the 99 front has a bigger opening so its possible it could even be a little better.

Jeremy, You have to cut the bumper to fit it right. But I think greddy FMIC fits perfect with 99 oem bumper. As you could see, the core is very well exposed and fits great with some trimming. I recommend getting the rebar and all the oem assessories. If you don't get the underbelly and the brake ducts, you could see thru.. which i think is little tacky and reduces some performance of having 99s.
Far as cooling issus.. well, like any other FMIC, it blocks air going to the radiator. Since AC condensor is front of most rad, it will block even more. I had some issues with it, but compare to my MB with smic and mazda comp rad, its not much worse. On street, I saw around 93-96 on normal. But I see 93 on my MB. But with temp settings changed thru PFC, it should be fine. I had it on my MB and now I run 85-87 and 91 peak so far.
I'm also going to be working on some ducts to get some air to the rad. If it works out, I'll let you know.

Well I have the rebar, R-Magic brake ducts, airguide and I just emailed Jason about the under pan yesterday. I also got some brand new OEM 98 Sideskirts to go on at the same time so it should look real nice when finished. Im deffinitly doing this all correct with all the parts not just a bumper skin. I am still on the fence with the FMIC, its a damn good price @ $850 though. I do of course have the PFC so the temp settings can be controlled.
