Gotham oil pan brace...

I have a new oil pan and brace..the brace i just put around the pan to see how it would fit and it hits the lip on the pan on both sides. Has anyone had this prob?

I didn't have that problem. I did need to enlarge one of the bolt holes for fitment, but that was it.

Just bend the lip outward a bit so that the pan fits. Your pan might be a bit distorted if it has a lot of miles on it.

I had this problem, the brace needed to be machined a bit

anyway, so far so good...no leaks!
