Got it running, sort of...

Got the coolant problem fixed so the car can run.

The engine takes a few seconds to start up, sometimes a little quicker than others. The oil pressure gauge starts out showing the pressure very low and works its way up to the hash mark that is about half way and then the pressure dies back down, oil leak. Any obvious spots to check for leaks?

If I leave the car idleing for awhile or if I am driving, slow for a stop, and then press in the clutch and the rpms drop below 1k RPMS and get VERY low. It seems like the car is about to die and then the RPMs kick back up to about 900 and drop back real low and finnally get to about 600-900.

Oh ya, and the car doesn't have much power. I don't feel anything at 4500 at WOT, it continues to pull but not hard like I believe it should.

If you have your coolant problem fixed, drive it to Gotham Racing.

It's pretty obvious that you aren't trying to fix your car yourself. If you were, you would be using the seach function with your symtoms, using/reading the FSM, and out working on the car instead of posting so many questions.

In this case, the best idea is to take it to a professional (i.e. Gotham) since you have more problems with the car then you can deal with right off the bat.

I have done searches and I've gotten several different answers to my questions.

I was told that gargaling was air in the coolent and hissing was coolent boiling off. I was also told that gargaling was the coolent boiling, I'm hearing different things from different people. I post questions because I want people to reply so I can see what most people think. Almost every thread here when someone asks a question 2 people have 2 different ideas of what could be causing the problem.

It's also very frustrating to buy a car and have so many problems unfold in the first couple days of owning it. I am delaying registering the car because I anticipate haveing to shell out most of my money to get the car running well.

I also sometimes post questions when I am at work and don't have time to sit around and dig through threads or go out and get my head in the engine bay.

I spend plenty of time digging through old threads reading everything that pertains to the problems I have and everything that doesnt pertain to my problems in an attempt to learn as much as I can.

I do appreciate your advice and I hope to not deter you from giving it to me in the future.

That's because the end result that you may see/hear which is the problem, may be caused by many different things. It's up to you to break out the wrenches and start narrowing down the problem. If you are waiting on a post to say "this is exactly your problem", that's probably not going to happen. You have to find the "possible causes", and start eliminating what isn't the problem. That's how you troubleshoot. But until you start checking things, no one can do anything else for you but give you those "pie in the sky" suggestions.

And this is exactly why you should take the car to Gotham Racing (or Rotary Performance). You need to let a professional check over the car and assess what is really going on. For people who have no experience with the car, it can be impossible to fix a lot of problems at one time.

Listen to Mahjik....I said the same thing in your other thread. It doesn't seem as if you are even trying to troubleshoot things yourself. There's nothing wrong with that, but there's no point in posting threads and wasting people's time trying to help you.

Get the car to Gotham with your list of problems and let them get the car in shape. Once it's in shape, then you'll have more time and a better baseline to learn how things work.

Oh, and didn't you buy this car for cheap knowing it had some issues? Then quit whining about it! I'm sure it sucks for you that the seller didn't disclose all these things, but that's the way the cookie crumbles sometimes, especially when you're buying a car sight unseen from 1000 miles away.
