What is so hard about this concept?

The air pump is there for emissions. If you don't have to pass an emissions test, then you can remove it if you want. However, a large percentage of people who remove the air pump experience bad idle and light load, low rpm (too rich). The only way to fix this is with a programmable ecu (Apexi PFC).

That's all there is to it, folks. Keep in mind that some states are adding emissions testing and that, in the future, it is likely that more states will follow.
