Got My New Plates

It was kinda dark when I got this shot, but I figured I would post it up anyways.

I applied for these plates almost 27 months ago to the day. The DMV... moving at the speed of government.

Anyways, they were actually planned for an RX 2 that I had at the time, then sold, and just recently bought back.

I was wondering if anyone had that. Nice plate (but don't care for the wing though).

Me too. I was ordering vanity plates on the CA. DMV web site, and that configuration wasn't available. So Dave was the **** that had it.

Nothing like getting a call from the DMV almost 2 years after ordering a plate to say it is ready. Then it still takes close to another 4 months to get it to me. Way to earn that $41 vanity plate fee

You've gotta be KIDDING me! Are you SERIOUS? 2 YEARS? Wut the hell...was someone making it peice by peice by hand?? And even so, it still wouldn't take that long! Here, vanity plates usually follow in a week or two of placing the order!

BTW...your car looks really nice. Got any other pics of her?

You didn't know that in Cali the jails are so empty that they can't keep up with the license plate program?

**edit** That garage looks familiar for some reason

I like it. My vanity plate took like 3 weeks from the time I ordered until it made I got it.

Too bad cops hate it. I guess they hate FEARED cars. Oh well, others seem to appreciate.

Speaking of which, I just got my personalized plates this month, too, after having the car on the road since January. The idea came in response to people running up to me at gas pumps and parking lots telling me that I had a sweet ride, whatever it was, then being asked if it was a corvette or a viper. See sig.

I've seen a few other people do it, but still don't quite understand, why keep the plate on the inside of the bumper?

Man, this is not encouraging news for me! I ordered my plates about 2 weeks ago. I hope I don't have to wait 2 years to get them!

Cool plate, btw!

I like that...

The spoiler's nice. It flows well w/ the car...don't pay them any You know what's scary tho? Minus a few things here and there, your car looks a LOT like mine... C-west kit (but I have Mazdaspeed skirts), same hood (which is def. a rarity!) spoiler, etc. Looks real nice man...and I'm very partial to silver myself
