Got my first RX7!!

I'm now in the FD world! I got a 93 silver basic (nice and light!!!)...cloth seats, no sunroof. It's got the 3" downpipe, 3" catback, upgraded intercooler, air intake, short shifter, oil, boost, temp and EGT gauges, BOV (which I LOVE...I know some people think they're stupid, but I like the obnoxious sound)...the previous owner had an upgraded ECU...but he took it....the system is opened up quite a bit and I know I need to ensure proper fuel delivery and it will never get less than 94 octane...I think I better get the power FC....it's gonna be making some extra boost....so I want to watch the air/fuel and limit the boost...I'll drive it nice and easy until fuel delivery is ideal....sound like a decent setup to you guys? The thing pulls STRONG!!
Here's my car. I'm thrilled!! I'm beside myself. This car is gonna stomp people around town! :
I got it for $17 500 (Canadian) or $14 000 USD

dont go boosting too much with a stock ecu and those mods.its not too dangerous, but you need tuning or a boost controller. if you cant afford tuning a boost controller should work great.

yes...I think I'll get that Power FC...I'm in for about a grand for that?? (Canadian dollars I mean)...so like 800...is that about right? I think the easiest thing for me to do is get that with the boost control kit...keep it at what? 12 lbs maybe?? I mean, **** the thing is fast regardless.

I wasn't thinking of adding turbos right off the bat. Was just wondering how they perform. A lot of FD owners seem to go single turbo, but I would like a 10-15 psi seq. twin. These stock twins run very smooth and I'm liking this change, hoping to keep a seq. system that can handle more boost.

Just F.Y.I. you don't need the boost control kit. The PFC will do the job without it

oh thats right the boost control is one of the power FC's functions right? So, with the PFC, that is replacing the stock ECU, meaning I can run some extra boost right?

alot of people dont trust the PFC to control boost. however, you can cross that bridge when u get to it.

before upgrading boost its important to upgrade intercooler and possibly fuel. what type of aftermarket intercooler do you have?

yeah i have to do something about fuel delivery....for starters, maybe I should get the injectors power purged to at least ensure things are working on an ideal stock level and then improve from there?....I really don't want to push the car until I get the PFC on there to keep on eye on some things....which will take some discipline lol
