Just sucks that it took out my complete engine, and both turbos were uber fucked.
She's dynoing soon, Cavelli......the suspense is KILLING me

you guys are crazy!

Anyways...yeah i am one of the skeptics...i need more dyno info! I would especially like to see more 15psi pulls on these bnr's that way we could compare them to the stockers.

Just got done with the 1st part of tuning tonight.

Going back tomorrow cause Steve's laptop died, and I may have a bad fuel pump (brand new Supra Denso).

Tuned low boost @ around 12 psi and its smooth and fast all the way to redline.

However @ 17 psi, I was running hella lean >6000 RPMS.

We'll see what we can do tomorrow, but I can't wait to see what it'll be like with 5 more pounds of boost.

As soon as we get everything settled with the fuel issue, I'll take it to the track as well. Too bad I've never done it before so I probly won't do the car any justice..

So I've been promised! Gotta love the gotham guys, I've been talking to Rich thru email and I'm pretty much convinced they will be the ones tuning my car. I've even convinced a friend of mine w/ a 93 R1 to drive out there with me to have his car tuned by steve.

Beautiful women eh? Looks like i'll be hiting the clubs and geting my own hotel room

So...how much power did u make at 12psi?

Also...its very interesting to see several people reporting a bad supra fuel pump lately....those things are known to be bullett poof for the past several yrs.

Hi Matty,

I think they were prolly tuning on the street--there is a great road in the vicinity of our shop. No traffic, smooth and straight, good visibility for miles.

Re: the Supra TT pump, mine is working great, but towards redline seems to be having a little problem keeping up. Interesting to note, because based upon a pair of websites I've been on, I have enough injector to handle 444 rwhp at 17 psi and 85% duty cycle, right on the limits of the pump. Hopefully that means I'm making close to 440 to the ground.....we'll see by the end of this week

are youn runnign 1300cc?

i am...and at 14 psi i make 340 rwhp...i generally see high 70s duty..sometimes very low 80s (when i hit 15psi). I could be rich but dave says he has me tunned to low 11 afr. Being that my duty is already "kinda" up there it would lead me to believe that over 400rwhp would be pushing much higher duty cyles for MY car....does my logic make sense?

I too have visited those fuel calculator sites. They never seemed to be accurate for MY car...for example...with my older setup at 12psi with the stock injectors i was seeing very high 90s inj duty cycles making 300rwhp with 11.4 afrs ala dave's tuning.. Now according to those sites...many say that much higher rwhp is attainable with the stock fuel system. However with my car it wasnt...i have seen alot of other people have similar results as me.

BTW..an imprtant note is that my motor is completely stock.

I guess I should've mentioned that I have 850cc primaries to go along with my 1300cc secondaries .

Also, my motor is ported like a ****.....

Hey Rich, your car is pretty fast well your dad beat me and Steve in my car...but not by too much. Steve did some fine tuneing on my car on the way back to your house. I was kind of pissed that they couldn't dyno your car. Im just glad that I could stay relitively close to your car. Im only pushing 15lbs of boost on the BNR's without a ported motor. Your car is sweet though.

Cool, thanks . Sounds like you've got a pretty strong running 7 as well. How many miles are on that stock motor? How much were you boosting as shown on the commander? What speeds did you run at? Also, was the exhaust ungodly loud, and was it spitting flames?

Sorry for all the questions, I just miss my 7

hahaha, it's cool....It feels very nice. My motor has 48K on it. When it goes boom I want to get it ported. On the commander I was getting a little boost creep to about 14.7 PSI. I think I have fixed it since then. Me and your dad ran from the middle of 3rd to the top of 4th. I forget what 4th tops out around. Im not sure if your exhaust was ungodly loud, but mine is. Your dad and steve could hear me like 3 miles away once I left. Yours was spitting the crazyiest flames i've ever seen. That was badass man. Your gonna love your car.

Awesome! Flames kick *** until they catch your bumper on fire. I've gotta watch that .

The pfc commander reads kg/cm^2 with 1.00=14.2 psi, so what were you seeing on the commander?

oh the commander I was seeing .98 when I was with steve and your dad. I had it creep to 1.03 on the commander on the way home from rotor fest. I think that may have been because I had the controller on high...whoops Yeah I gotta watch my bumper too....You could see the reflection of the flames off the walls of the highway. I think we need to get some kind of restricter for the banjo bolts for the oil feed lines. Both of our cars were burning some oil.

I was getting some ignition breakup at the higher RPMS, so I'm hoping its just that and not a loss of fuel pressure when we were trying 17 lbs. Tonight We'll hook up a fuel pressure gauge to watch while we're running it on the freeway.

Either way it was running hella lean in the upper rev ranges.

Not yet.

Everything else drained me, but I'll be putting in an HKS Twin Power when I can afford it.

But I think that'll come after the vented hood. Texas heat is a bitch.
