Got the 7's!!

Me and my bro picked up our REX's today. (2) 1994 cars. His - Black, with tan leather, auto, was in limp mode, needs seat covers 88k miles clean title. Mine - White black leather, 49k miles, showroom interior, dual oil coolers, 5 speed, low compression on rear rotor, runs pretty good still, salvage title. Well first thing was to check codes on the black car since my bro is pulling the motor to do V8 Ls1 conversion (sorry guys). So I figured I should diagnose his car first. after running codes and getting back 5 of them. I cleared the codes in the ECU and took it for a drive. WOW, fixed everything and the car hauls ***. So I'll be pulling the motor shortly for my white car (I get all of the driveline for removing and cleaning the engine bay). So I also installed my 50.00 ebay short shifter and am moving the car to my house instead of my parent's soon. I'm pumped.

Here's one pic of the cars. Oh yeah, that's my TT Supra too. Yes I've been sleeping with the enemy, but I'm back as a rotard.

Hmmm.

His 4500.00
Mine 5500.00
LS1 and T56 w/ ECU and harness - 1800.00

So I will have a running car with a backup engine to rebuild for 5500.00

who in their right mind would sell a LS1/T56 for 1800? unless it has super high milage or needs a rebuild, LS1 blocks go for more than 2k alone.

HAHAHA!! I was staring at the half red FC in the background for the longest time wondering how you were able to see the steering wheel. Then I notice this little red and blue toy up front.

Sorry

Sorry about the late update guys. Work is murder when everyone takes vacaction in the same week.

Ok there's more to that pic too. See the car in the garage with the cover on it? My mom's 62 vette that my dad and her restored. They just finished it. All work done by my dad and mom in the garage. He even did 100% of body work, paint, engine building etc. EVERYTHING. It won best in class, best in show, and the sponsor's award at the first big Corvette show they entered it in (2 weeks ago). He also has his 65 fuel injected, side exhaust 327 Vette he's restoring in there. That car is going to blow me away the way he's taking his time doing it (and I've been around car restorers my whole life). So imagine all that AND a yet another 2 FD's and the 87 shell of a RX-7 that was going to be our family drag car. I also own my 1994 eclipse GSX racecar. Just got it running and driving with a complete build and about 375ish HP. I will have many pics of it on the site soon.

Anyways, I'm glad the link works for some. I wouldn't know how to fix it since half see it and half don't. I'll get more pics of my projects for you guys.

Back to work
Patrick

damn it!

I bought my 93 fd 1 year ago for $12,500.00 !

In that time I have had:

2 blown cooling fan motors(1300),
4 vacuum hose leaks-(no money)
Vacuum hose job(550)
Bad clutch replaced(1200)
Upper suspension bushings(450)
rear suspension(750)
Bad exhaust(300)
Bad O-rings on fuel injectors-(650)
Bad Wiring Harness(working on getting that fixed)

Spent a total of like 18k on the car just to get it running right, but I ****** love it, and wouldnt trade my FD for the world.

Because I'm into road racing ppl tell me I should put in a roll cage in case I get into an accident.....**** THAT! if my car dies! I die with it! I love my car too damn much!

Plus a bad condition FD should be put into the right hands for it to be restored, I hate seeing FD's die out! SO I dont have many regrets on spending all that money on my car!
