Goop inengine coolant...?

So I open my coolant cap and noticed somefloasting clear gooey stuff floating at the top, when I wiped it out it wasnt really greasy it was clear and gooey and itt was floating, the radiator is brand new and never been filled before now and hasnt been driven only filled with water a little coolant and idled for a few minutes...
I wonder what that is?

I was told from a very experianced mechanic that he used to get the same thing in his porche. He told me that its from not useing the car enough. Or when I do use it I dont run it long enough.

I think its from condensation that builds in the motor. Not burned away from daily driving. In my case it made sense because I was rarely using the car only on nice days.

Hope thats all it is..

Yeah that would make sense, Ive put a really watery mixture of coolant in since ive had the new radiator and I started it about 2 weeks ago to make sure it would still run, but its been sitting in my basement since the beginning of winter around september, it didnt seem harmful or worrysome because when I tryed to grab it and rubbed it in my fingers it had dissipated in like a second...
Just curious about it...
Thanks for the help friend...
