good spot for gauges

ok, so this might sound like a dumb question.

i have an a/f gauge sitting around and was thinking about mounting it....but im trying to find a good spot for it. is mounting it on top of my dash on the left side (rhd) a good spot?

i ask this because the gauge is not one that i would be looking at a lot so is having it in that location really matter? i mean, i would prefer having a meter there that i would be looking at frequently (like boost, or rpm) but this is about the only location i found that fit best.

What do you guys think?

Have you thought about putting in on your steering column?

yeah, already have a boost gauge there. i was trying to put the boost on my dash and that was all good.....except that when i went to fit the a/f on my steering pod it didnt fit. the meter is too long for the steering pod. i also have a pillar pod that i will be installing later but those use 60mm and the a/f is 52mm

Since your FD is RHD, I guess you could put it on the dash to the right, under the pillar area?

that was my original plan but after test fitting everything, the pillar pods take up all the room there.

oh well, ill keep messing around to find a good spot. But is the top left side of the dash a bad spot to put an a/f gauge? just curious if anyone else has one up there. (or top right on LHD cars)
