Good Idea to Run Evans Coolant on a Brand New Rebuild?

Im getting my car back soon from a blown coolant seal (they were Haynes btw). My mechanic says Haynes = suxxor. But besides that, I was wondering if anyone thinks its safe to put it right away on Evans coolant, with a low maybe 5 psi cap? I have a fluidline radiator already, but I do not want to blow another motor because of cooling issues.

Yep, best bet it to run it from the start. That way you wont have to worry about water in the system. Hayes=teh sux

I did it with my re-build running 0 psi, not a hint of problem even in the middle of Georgia summer (100 deg, 100% humidity). One caution, even if the motor is empty, you will still need to flush the coolant system with Sierra PG. It's because of the coolant that could still remain in your heater core (unless you don't have one).

Do a search for Evans, you'll get the answer you're looking for and plenty more.

Understood and thanks for the feedback. I'll have to order the stuff.
