Is this a good deal for an RX-7

Hey, there was this ad in the newspaper for a 1994 RX-7 TT (do RX-7 have twin turbos?) with 52,000 miles and it was being sold for $16,000. Is this a good deal? Yay or Nay?

All RX-7's have Twin Turbos. Its a pretty good deal. Any problems with it? whats the condition? Are you buying an rx-7 soon?

Yes, thats an awsome deal,
I saw a 94 with 54k miles on it sell for almost 20k a couple
days ago(was tryn to buy it, but someone offered more than me)

and yes, they're all twin turbo,

before you buy it, do alot of research,
and have the car checked out by a mechanic,

and most of all RUN A CARFAX REPORT,
seriously, dont chance it !
I just recently got MAJORLY burned because I didn't

rmani,
Since my e-mail is acting up at the moment, I'll just post it here.

The ad says 1994 RX-7 twin turbo R2, 56K K miles (ok, so I was a little off on the miles), black, 5 speed, custom sound, and exhaust, more mods.
$16,000 Matt. (303)-791-9818.

The car is located in Colorado.

As long as the cars been taken care of I'd assume it'd be okay.

Depends on if the person did a good job modifying it. It's possible to really mess up the car with mods, say, by adding lots of mods without upgrading the ECU. If you are convinced that the former owner really knew what they were doing and you like the mods then you can save a lot of money by buying a car that is already modded. If they are a member of this forum that would be a major plus I would say.

Cool Good Deal?

Bought my 93 VR Base in '96 w/49k miles for $20k.

Went to see about putting 15's on my MX-3 @ 105k miles and said the only car I would forsake my MX-3 for would be a 93-95 RX-7. Then the service manager at Mazda said ....just got one in today from a lease. I put a binder on it and went home to tell the wife....Next day when we both went back to finish deal.....I saw someone test driving it. When they got out of the car I asked "How do you like my new car?" They were so pissed.....had driven 1 1/2 hours to buy it.

Five years later it is totally paid for and I just had it rebuilt @114k miles. The passion has never declined. I love this car! Is it worth it? Yessssssss!

hey that's my car. It's in awesome shape. Mostly reliability mods, downpipe, catback, silicon hoses and ties, boost gage, and turbo timer. It had a salvage title, but when I registered in CO (was in CA) the salvage didn't show up, not even on car fax. Told the new owner anyway, sold it for 15,400 tonight.
