Efini Y-pipe

Hey, i just bought and installed a efini Y-pipe today. The thing is that i dont' see much of a difference in the OEM part and the efini Y-pipe. What should i expect with this upgrade?

Don't expect to get an increase in power because you won't.

I will buy it from you if you don't want it anymore..

It is claimed to be good for 10 HP. I doubt it does anything for relaibility though, unless your talking about the aluminium crossover pipe that comes with it.

Actually the rubber coupler that connects the OEM metal y pipe to the plastic crossover tube is a known problem. It tends to tear and/or pop off.

I think it's a good mod, supposedly has better flow due to relocating the BOV connector out of the air flow. MazdaComp claims 10-15 HP, I guess that could be accurate. But I like it for the reliability factor, and the fact that it can be polished.

Well i hope i installed it correctly... seemed like a easy job at first and then i had to remove all these parts connected... i think its kind of a bitch to do. But after this you kinda have a idea of how your car is. But heres one big question that pops up in the install.. the inlet facing towards firewall with connects to the pipe w/ the actuator just plugs straight in right? Cuz it didnt' really stay all that tight but i guess after screwing everything it it stays in place. thats the only part i hesitate about. Please let me know this is how it suppose to be.

The y-pipe should fit in tightly.
Did you install a new oring?
It's part number N3A1-13-162.
This o-ring seals the y-pipe to the second turbo/actuator pipe.
