If you go to Advanced Auto Parts, 2 year free replacement on NGK's.

I know this has been debated a million times, but owning a FD is expensive PERIOD. If you drive it daily, it's a bitch to keep up with the maintenance and it gets expensive real quick. If you don't drive it daily, you have to keep TWO cars... and that's expensive too . I know people are going to say "I bought my beater for $600 and I haven't put a dollar into it for 3 years, etc", etc... but truth is, it's VERY hard to find a decent car for $1k-$2.5k (reasonable beater price) that does not require a fair amount of maintenance as well as an insurance increase. Also, I don't want to drive a boring POS car around 90% of the time just so on the weekend I can have the luxery of drivng my FD. I don't put all the time and money into to just stare at it... it's a car, not a glass vase on the mantle .

It has to do with who you're trying to fool on this board.

His '94 Supra and '94 FD must have been stolen recently because they're no longer listed in his profile...

I drive an 89 Camry daily and bought my FD for racing, weekend driving, and just plain having fun. I knew it wasnt going to be my daily driver but that was ok with me, who wants to drive their car to work and just park it everyday? Id rather drive the economical ride then drive the FD when i want to have fun, i just dont see the point in putting 20 miles there and back everyday on my baby.

Bought a '94 Black FD with 58,000 miles on it back in November, and have been driving it off and on. So far in the past 5 months, I've gotten an oil leak, had a cooling hose rupture, noticed some rust start around the front of my power sunroof, and the car's started rumbling at idle.
I definitely don't think these cars should be used as a daily driver unless you've got a spare vehicle(which I do) just in case she breaks on you.
Granted, if you're willing to throw a few K into it to get some of the necessary upgrades (REPLACE THE VACUUM AND COOLANT HOSES!) then this car is alot more reliable.

So you come online and make yourself look like an asshat on the forums?

You = win in real life.

Well, lying about what you own is a great start. They should certainly be proud of what you've accomplished so far.
