It has low miles, but i've seen some for a less. All stock and looks clean. Probably keep looking but keep an eye on it for sure.

To drive a happy rx7 you need one of two things: mechanical skills beyond basic maintenance with garage space and a spare vehicle OR enough cash to make us wonder why you didn't buy a new high-end sports car, so that you can afford to pay someone else to do all the fix it and maintenance work without batting an eye.

Best,
Dave.

look like a fool? i carelessly made a ******* typo. As if i dont really know who mitsubishi makes an evo? **** happens, get over it. Seems like your the only one caught up on that. If your gonna sit here and tell me WHY i should own an evo, which you did in the end of your last post, than thats fine. I DONT have mechanic ability to be able to work with this car and i DONT have the money either.

Can you get a compression test on the car? If you can drive it and it's all good than I wouldn't let everybody talk you out of it. The price seems about 1-2k high. Did you ever say whether or not you were planning on this as your daily driver?

Personally, i love the looks of the rx7 and its always a car i was interested in. Ive always heard the horror stories about the rotarys so i stayed away from it. Everytime i see one its like "DAMN" i just admire everything about it. Then i got interested in rx7 with LS swaps but thats just expenssive and it is in essence "de souling" a 7. And i wanted a car i can drive daily, maybe 3-4 times a week. But with the way people speak about it, you cant drive it for 5 miles without it breaking. So now i dont know. But it seems like a very finicky car that needs a lot of attention. Which is fine but i just dont have the kind of money to be fixing it all the time. I thought with extra attention this would be a reliable car, but then i have rotary owners saying the opposite. I want a car that i can enjoy, not have to always look at cause it doesnt run.

buy a cheapo beater, best thing I ever bought, 220k mile 93 bmw 525, quiet, comfy, and reliable as hell. I've driven it when I've been afraid or unable to drive the FD. You're in virginia, I assume you guys can get some pretty nasty winters up there just as we do here. I do not think you shouldn't get an FD, however a beater is one of the best things ANY rotary owner can buy, or anybody with a performance vehicle that they would like to keep in good condition. Do what makes YOU happy.

and no, I don't hate supras, I love them to be honest, they're one of the few cars I would trade an FD straight across for, however calling them pupras is just fun.

I figuerd you were just messing, i dont see how anyone can hate on such an awesome car. Im still debating whether or not i should get the 7. i already have a daily car thats incredibly reliable(95 bmw 318ti 152XXX miles). I just dont want to buy it and have a car that i spend more time looking at instead of driving. Its between the 7 and an 03-05 evo at the moment.
