Seems like a pretty good deal if they're doing the swap for you.

Why do you need 1600s? What mods do you have and what are your plans?

He might be towing it to save the mileage too...I know around where I live, there isn't anyone who can work on rotaries (except for my fellow rotorites and I). If I'm getting the anti-det. device in Pennsylvania, I might trailor mine. Please don't thread hijack about the anti-det. device. Didn't mean to do that, just giving an example.

These are my Mods:

Apex PFC
DP, MP, CB
Greddy SMIC
HKS Intake
Greddy Pullies
Mazdaspeed short shifter
Fan mod
DIY 99spec rear lights
Boost gauge
a/f Gauge
Silicon hose job
M2 Street/comp cluth
19" Mekrah Rims

thats all the relevant things I can think of.
I am sure i must of done a lil here and there to.

Things to come:
Low miles Twins now, Later : single turbo.
Radiator
AST
CWEST body kit
Mspeed hood
Hard intake pipes.
Paint.

Reason I am getting it towed back is, because
teh FD been down for over a year, and when
she died, I knew it would be a while before I got
her fixed, so I returned the Tags and Canceled
my insurance.. Last thing I want is to drive home
on fake tags get pulled over, have the FD impounded
and some MF take her out on joy ride, on my New
Motor and **** it up again.
