I've heard bad things about SR tuned PFC's... You might want to do some searches on it...

If you are going to get someone else to tune the PFC, then go for it...

I have heard quite the opposite about SR tuned PFCs, from a rather reliable source. Jason doesnt approve because he wants you to buy from him.

No matter what you get, have someone dyno tune your car for you. The SR tuned maps are way rich.

Very true. No shop can tune it for you as well as a proper dyno tune.

What all have you done to your car? If its stock SR isnt going to tune anything on the Power FC.

Wait, do you mean their Package #2 -- PFC, fuel pump, tuning

OR, their Stage II -- large KKK turbo kit (full spool by 4k rpm -- can you say lag?)

At first I thought you meant the Stage 2 turbo. Then everyone started posting about the PFC so I figured it was the stage 2 kit.

going single is a very large step and should only be made by an experienced FD owner (and more importantly - driver). Stay with the twins for a while. They work great and pull hard. If you have reliability problems, you can always go non-sequential. Don't be in such a rush to make big changes to the car, it's fantastic as it came from the factory.

What do you have on the car now?

That SR kit is just the turbo kit (nothing else). You need to add a little more to the car than just slap a a single turbo kit on it. Take a look at Jason's single turbo package at the RX-7 Store:

Jason was not the person that posted bad tuning by SR.

KKK is a brand name.

Unless you live in the area and spend alot of money at SR buying "only" his parts, I would not expect any tuning from them.

This is my personal opinion and I'm not going to keep posting trying to back myself up but I feel like SR Motorsports is the most crooked rx7 parts distributer on the net.

I wouldnt buy a spark plug from Ray.

Yeah going along with Rynberg...I *think*(although I don't know) that you probably need more RX7 knowledge before buying a big single. As Rynberg suggested, keep the stock twins and do all the bolt ons. You'll be F'in movin', then go single if you choose.
