just a suggestion, if you want to get all the buff marks out try using 2000 gritt or higher and wet sand, then polish, you shouldent be able to see any scraches after that.

Thanks Matty, I can't wait for the driving part, I'm working over time to reach to that point.

I appreciate the suggestion you gave me, but honestly I'm not going back to the parts that are done already, definitely will keep that in mind though. Thanks.

Thanks, how would you rate this product, have you used it?

I'm still debating of what should I do as far as protecting the bling, I know for sure that on the altenator and TB (hard to maintain) I'm going to spray some diamond clear I got from eastwoodco.com, so I don't have to worry about the oxidation problem and there will be no more polishing there, just dry ragg whipe off.

So I don't know if I should spray all the polished stuff, or get some good polishing compound to maintain the shine?

Solid tork brace,
I made this one a while ago, out of some eye hooks (home depot) and angle aluminum for the fender bracket (I had layng around in my shop) so it looked like this:
This picture was taken year and a half ago...

Now I polished the eye hooks and put a polished pipe over the center piece for the bling-bling factor, also looks alot more genuine.

Yep, almoast done polishing though, I'm doing the altenator now, last piece.

God willing this saturday I'm going to pull out the twins, pulleys (sending them to powder coat) and injectors (sending them to RC ing.) also cleanup the engine bay while everything is out.

So by next week I should start putting things back together.

everything looks good, i wish i had the patience to do all that. i don't think wenol protects the finish, its just a polisher. u should try zoopseal

Thanks,
Yeah definitely takes alot of patience and hard work to achieve all that... I guess I'll just forget about the Wenol, I'll be getting some mothers polish or something from a local auto store... Realy non of the polishing products protect for a long time anyway, so I'm gonna have to go over twice a year and keep it cleanNshiny.

Alt, TB and some other small pieces I clear coated them, so I don't have to worry about them for a pretty long time... hopefully,

Zoopseal, heh, that thing is to expensive...
