Going Non-Sequential, Questions Inside...
Like I said, I'm having my car worked on and I'm going Non-sequential. Not the poorman's non-seq. My question is since I'm running a PMS computer, should I use a diff fuel map since I'm going non-seq? The guy that's doing the mod, said I should be fine with my settings on it now. Should I worry about blowing up? Where can I get the PMS software with a fuel map for a set up like this? Thanks.
Well, non-seq changes the boost pattern, which will change your AFRs throughout the rev range. The only time this becomes an issue is at the transition. The stock ECU, and even the PFS PMC is expecting a dip in boost at transition, down to 8 psi, or whatever the dip will be at the PMS' other settings. If that dip doesn't happen, you run lean.
For most people this isn't a problem. Myself on the other hand, I blew my motor by running non-seq on the stock ECU. Personally, I wouldn't do again it without having an ECU that can control it. But then again, hindsight is 20/20.

It really shouldn'y be a problem, but if you would like to be on the safe side like 911 said I would get an upgraded ecu also. It just makes sense since you'll end up getting one later anyways.
