getting aftermarket radiator, what about upgrade fans?

I'm going to get me a koyo radiator. I was reading old thread about how much better the car runs with upgraded radiators. But I was thinking to get the full benefit of an aftermarket radiator a upgrade fans should be applied(it probably helps with the a/c to cool a little bit faster on slow traffic). I have search for this but no luck. Does anybody makes a upgrade fan kit for FD? thanx

The stock fans are very good already, there really isn't a practical way to improve on them much.

To increase the air flow, use two stock 4 bladed fans with the stock motors . The cost of the fan from the dealer is about $34 .

Thumbs up

I second the motion.
Get the 4 blades fan NOT the 5.

Hmm, I'm not sure if I agree that you can improve CFM by using more blades on the fan. You may end up burning out the fan motors prematurely or pushing less air due to cavitation.

You've got to give the Mazda engineers a little credit for researching this before they slapped them on. Sometimes less is more.

The stock 4 blade and 5 blade fans are there so a noise problem would not come in to play . Garfinkle uses two 4 blade fans and there is no thumping sounds . the sound of rushing air is greater then the 4-5 combo

How much of an improvement is gained from swapping to the 4 blade fans? I've drag raced and road raced my R1 in the texas summers without any cooling problems.....
