Pettit Racing has also been around for years and years, this is off his website......

For the past 25 years, we have concentrated on rotary engine development, chassis performance, and racing these amazing engines. Our products are time and track proven, in the most grueling endurance races like the Rolex 24 at Daytona.

They were RX7/rotary only WAY before the 3rd gen

-Rikki

All the shop are great I am not saying they are not but what I am saying is that he has had more MAZDA back round than any of them.

-Rikki

And we all know what a wonderful job Mazda did with the car. lol, half the crap under the hood needs to be riped out to make it run good and reliable.

The fast that he got a car first doesnt really mean much in my opinion. A turbo rotory is a turbo rotory and they should all be tuned the same. If you can make a 500rwhp TII you would use the same formula to make a 500rwhp 3rd gen.

Actually I think in one post you did imply that PFS was the only shop that could do this. There is a reason no other shops put out those numbers and boost levels, its not cause they cant its cause they know its not safe. They know people dont want to redyno thier car everytime the temp drop 10degrees cause they are running on the ragged edge. Its all about the margin of error and safty for a customers car. Peter is probably going a little close to the edge for you cause you live close by and your giving him good publicity.

I mean think about it.....why hasnt all the other 100's of previous customes cars put down numbers like that??? Cause he didnt want them blowing up when winter rolled around thats why.

Don't worry. Your English is loud and clear. There seems to be a lack of understanding on the other end.

Agreed. As said a dyno run doesn't cost that much and many people have offered to pay, even I think Gordon offered to pay for it. But I doubt even without Rikki paying for it if it'll ever happen.

Now many people have offered to pay for a dyno run at KDR yet Ryan has yet to make the appointment.
At this point I believe he won't do it. He is a virtual employee of PFS, with a PFS port, PFS tuned, PFS owned. Up until now I respected his knowledge but the way he is taunting and eluding is diminishing my respect.

This whole thing has the logic of stickers that add horsepower. Until it is validated by another trusted dyno it is marketing speak.

Perhaps that's where the extra 40 wheel hp came from--the PFS stickers all over his car

Why does Mr. Rikki need to be towed to KDR?
Is he afraid his engine will blow if he drives it there?
I say the drive there should be part of the test.
Does he want us to pay for his gas too?

I would be willing to chip in as well to put an end to this BS.

Guys come on, I'm sure the numbers are real. Just like I mentioned earlier its probably just a combination of aggressive tuning and porting. Its not hard to get an extra 20 or so rwhp with aggressive tuning and porting. Most shops done do this cause they know people dont want to retune thier cars when the temps change 30 degrees. Rikki lives clost to Peter and they have a good relationship so Peter can retune it later if need be.

There is no magic and I dont think Rikki is lieing.

Hehe. Ok, I've read these Rikki threads and I find it very odd that he rapes the refresh button and responds to every post in this thread EXCEPT the guys that say:

"The Dyno Run at KDR is paid for....just make the appt."

For some reason Rikki has a filter on that masks those posts?

Hehe.

RIkki will NEVER run his car at another dyno. I also totally believe he will never shut up about daring people to pay for him to go to another dyno. Hehe.

Rikki will also NEVER take his own advice about the Green Flag dropping..etc. What better advertising for PFS than to bring the Jethro mobile, complete with PFS decals, to a local track event and run mid-low 11s?

These threads all made interesting reading, though. So thank Jethro for that, if nothing else.

Sure he does, Peter doesnt want him to disclose the afr. If we all pay for a dyno (which is a good idea btw) it will uncover the afr.

hahahhaa

hilarious...rikki the only mod you need now is Don Kings haircut. Both of you uncouthfully promote guys who lose in court and both of you are non stop jabber.

very few questions got answered....so something is amiss.

Take your car to KDR....it aint that far and with that new motor and all that "power" you would enjoy the drive. Im sure daves dyno is a good accurate unbiased second opinion.

any bets on the month the motor goes?

how fun

j

regardless...congrats on the numbers and the car..Im sure its a blast...enjoy it while it lasts.
