CA Geez what now (another FD issue)

So I finally got my Platinum spark plugs in the mail...this time I decided to run all 9's like everyone said. Put em in... bam! Car started right up. Really smooth and nice. Then I shut her off to do my boost gauge install & water temp gauge install. After those were both in...went to start her up....and yet again NOTHING!

It turns over and catches...then just nothing. It wants to keep going but nothing. Maybe flooded motor? I dunno..I'm going to pull the brand new plugs again today...then put em back in and see if she starts. I totally have no idea what to do. My only assumption is bad fuel filter?

Did you let the car heat up before shutting it back off? If not you prolly just flooded it.

yes, sounds like its flooded. What was the problem before?

It might be simple like a flooded engine, or a little more serious like a leaking injector.

Definitely flooded, you cant just fire these cars up for 10 seconds then shut them off and expect them to start again. You can clean those plugs but might as well get new ones.

Really with those new plugs I'll have to replace them? That sucks. Cause I'd have to re-order them all over again..no stores carry our plugs except for copper in L.A. No gas or liquid leaks. I shut the car off after 30 secs cause the coolant warming light came on. so I just shut it off..added a little more coolant in *up to the sensor* and then went on to handle the gauges.

Since they're new, they "should" clean up OK with brake cleaner, etc., IMO.

Hmm, hard to believe 30 seconds of idling will already flood the car.

Unless if its REALLY cold outside?

I did the quick idle and shutdown just to see if my car will flood and it does not.

I never did a 10 second one but about 30-45 seconds i have done and car did not flood.

I believe if your plugs foul that fast, you might have a deeper problem.

As far as the coolant light coming on. Make sure you are burping the system to get rid of all the air.

Any chance you wired your gauges incorrectly? Maybe you blew a fuse thats related to the car starting or not.

Just a toss up but im throwing ideas out there hoping one of them will help you.

Pulled & cleaned the new plugs. Did the De-Flooding Procedure & tried starting. Nothing happened...then tried jump starting with another car....on the third & final try with a long sigh.....she started. Let her warm up for 10 min...went and put new gas in. Thanks for everyones help. Now....to decide whether to replace the double throttle solenoid or go single turbo.
