Exclamation Gauge Mounting Questions

Question:

I am removing the center speaker and want to mount a gauge pod there. I don't feel like spending $100 for one from TriPoint, and Summit sells a pod that fits mustangs for two pods. Has anyone tried to fit that on an fd? Any other suggestions for mounting them in an fd? Thanks

Yes it does fit. Nice thing about the tri-point is that it just snaps into place. The Mustang one requires a little creative thinking. You get what you pay for.

Before the name gets engraved deeper into your heads, its a TriPower gauge pod. I don't think they're associated with TriPoint.
