dude much easier if you remove the wheel and fender liner. grommet is like as big as a girls wrist diameter. can't miss it. easy as hell to fish wires in the cab. come out right behind the fuse box. as for the gauge set up, I have a three gauge panel for the upper din slot I bought. can't remember the site I got it from but it fits perfect. has one side that is smooth and the other side that is textured. it is a flat three gauge panel and costed like 20 chips. easy enough. the gauges are in direct line of site and looks clean as hell. I have one Defi Water Temp gauge installed and plan to add the other two soon. I will get pics later. by the way Defi easily is the best gauge out. matches the interior gauges perfect and you can polish the lip. I had a problem when I was installing it and Defi Japan which is Nippon Sieki contacted me immediately to guide me through the troubleshooting. you can't go wrong with the gauge. plus I only spent $130.00 on the gauge shipped. these guys are right, if you can't work on this car or figure out most of it yourself, you are in for one hell of a surprise. good luck. don't stop reading and searching? works for me.
