TX Gauge cluster wiring help

Name: cluz-011.jpg
Views: 1929
Size: 101.5 KB

I bought a shell and am putting it back together. First FD I've owned so I'm doing it all from pics and threads on this forum. Ran into a slight issue. I have two plugs for the cluster instead of four.

Need to know where the oil pressure/water temp and fuel level plugs come from? I have the firewall harness, dash harness and engine bay wrap around harness all installed and have not been able to locate these two. I've searched high and low and cant seem to figure it out.

Any help would be appreciated lol.

Thanks

The water/oil and fuel gauge is a separate harness that plugs into the dash harness. I'll take a picture of the harness when I get home later.

As tek_88 said, it is a separate harness. Part # FD01-67-03ZA. Unfortunately, I don't think it is available new from a dealer. You might be able to find a used one in the classifieds section though.

You definitely need to be using the FSM. The wiring diagram would also help immensely in this situation.

I looked thru them. Found emissions harness, dash harness, firewall and wrap around engine bay. These two plugs are the only ones that when shown had no color relating to either harness.

Ahh okay. Thanks. That also explains the empty blue plug. I thought it was for a missing airbag part or something.
