Gauge Cluster not getting any power

Is there a main power supply to the gauge cluster? I changed my dash out after my brother crashed my 97 FD RX 7 in April and none of the gauges work and the lighting to the gauge doesnt work. The 15 amp meter fuse and 10 amp Room fuse are good and both are getting power. So my main thought is theres a main power supply wire or something because nothing on the gauge cluster works at all.

There are two important grounds related to the instrument and dash harnesses. Perhaps check those.

Also do you have the wiring diagram specific to the 1997 model?

There were wiring changes for Version 4 cars ('96~98).

If your replacement cluster is from an earlier model the pin-outs may vary from what your harness expects.

For instance there is four plugs into the back of the gauge cluster. Early LHD route the wiring through different harness than the RHD, in some cases.

the gauge cluster wasnt damaged after accident except the lense was cracked which I replaced that. So its the same gauge cluster. If you have a link to that wiring diagram it would help me out because all I have is the American RX 7 diagram from 1993-1996. Definitely have found differences in this car like no obd 2 scanner because Japan didnt make it mandatory untill 2001. I am a Mitsubishi Eclipse guy that has totally rewired cars before so I do have a lot of experience and everything on this car works except for heater fan and gauge cluster. I do appreciate the ground info because my stepdad was bringing that up before I started diagnosing it last night. Does the heater fan have anything to do with the gauge cluster? I doubt it but got to ask because thats not working either? Post that wiring diagrams for the trim B FDs or aka the Spirit lol. I swear to god if I threw a Spirit Emblem on this car it would pass. It has the big *** stock wing in the back that wasnt offered on the US models and a different body trim as well. One more thing to add. There wasnt anything electrical damaged after the accident. So there is no chance of buying wrong parts if that helps.

You can by a little code reader on Buyee for about $50. Plugs in the diagnostic manual and flashes the codes. Codes are largely the same as for USDM.

Beware the coil positions changed for Version 4 and later cars. If you use the USDM diagram to hook up your plugs it could be a big problem.

HVAC and instrument harness may (might) share a ground located behind the glove box on the frame of the dash near the center section.

Probably access by removing the glove box (don't break the glovebox hinge).
