I have a shortblock that i just got back from pinapple racing, and was wondering if there was a good place to get a gasket set to assemble the rest of the engine and put it back in the car. So far the only sets i see also include internal shortblock parts that i dont need (and also cost a lot of money). Thanks in advance.

 

Mazda has an engine gasket set for the manifolds and stuff. Download the parts list and you'll find it on like the 1st page, right before the engine internals.

IIRC, Ray Crowe at Malloy Mazda (see FAQ sticky for tel) sells a reman gasket kit that includes all the external gaskets needed when installing a reman or shortblock. Cheaper than buying individually.
