16 mpg is pretty darn good. Unless you do almost all highway miles, you won't do much better than that...

Use The CRUISE CONTROL on the Highway - I get about 20mpg with the cruise set on 70 - Overall combined milage runs around 14-17mpg depending on the road mix (I commute 35mi ea way to work with about 30 of that on the freeway) - on the TRACK (road course) milage drops to around 10mpg

I think we all could do better mileage-wise. I was pretty upset with my mileage for a while, but realized that it's just how it is. I installed my PFC not too long ago too and experienced a pretty marked increase in mpg...I'm currently averaging 18.16mpg, with an average of 15.7 gallons per fillup and 286 miles on a tank. My PFC was installed 2 tanks ago and my average is up over 19mpg with it so far.
My driving style probably accounts for my mileage as I drive some highway and some city, but most of the highway is pretty fast (either ~75+ or many bursts of triple digits). If I drove like a granny I could probably get over 20 mpg, but I'm not terribly concerned with it. I think if I replace my stock air filter with K&N, or go with something like the M2 or CWC box intake I think my mileage would get better as well...maybe if I get a CB too
I should note that my PFC is untuned and my FD is running pretty much stock (PFC, DP), so YMMV (HA!)

Good Point - Most people upgrade their ecu and tune for higher boost 12-14psi or more but they could also be tuned for better milage by holding primary boost to say 8-9psi and running leaner below 4000rpm- and still tuned for more power over 4500rpm & WOT program boost for say a 9-8-12 pattern
also newer ecus (like the Power FC) react MUCH faster in closed-loop mode and so give better milage when cruising w/o boost.

Going single *can* give you better gas mileage if everything is right. Turbos increase fuel economy for people who don't accelerate like they have no *****. And I've never understood people who jump in a turn lane and floor it, only to stop.

Honestly, I don't see the point in these threads. If you are that concerned about gas mileage, don't buy a freaking sports car... The whole point of a sports cars is to go really really fast and get really really sh*tty gas mileage.
Do a search, majority of FD owners get around 12-15 mpg. Some are higher, some are lower but most are in that range. Basically, that is about the norm.

Here in the Irvine area in SoCal, premium octane runs you about ~$1.91; well for me at least.
Darn metric and SI measurement units! *shakes fist*

I never let it get down that far (that or my light isn't working). my avg fillup is 15.7 gallons, and I think I have like 7 or 8 data points for that calculation. The tank is 16.5 gallons, yeah?
