Garfinkle’s torque brace WOW!

Hey guys just like many other forum members agree Garfinkle’s torque brace is an excellent mod for your seven. You would be amazed by the quality of the peaces not like the other little brittle braces you can find on some of the places that sell rx7 parts and another thing this isn’t mounted only by the two bolts like the other ones this mounts with six bolts yes a little of a pain to install for one person alone but definitely worth it. Right after installing it I took it for a test all that I have to say WOW what a difference in the trans no way that you can miss any gears now especially 5th and the ride seem to be way smother and stiffer than before. By the way there’s a group buy going on for his brace and yes he is a great guy to deal with.

If you guys want any pics let me know and I will tray to post some up ASAP.

Sure, post some pics of the part that attaches to the side wall.

Mine was already on the car when I bought it, so I never have been able to appreciate it because I don't know what it feels like without it.

Ok based on those photos in the other thread RHD should clear it easily. Our ABS unit is on the opposite side to you guys so theres basically nothing on the side the brace mounts into the chasis.

What was the price? I still can't find a price anywhere but I know other engine torques cost around close to $150.

do you have stiffer motor mounts? diff brace? tranny brace?

somehow i feel that after already having those 3 mods, this tq brace will have a much smaller affect, but still craving one

I think it would be awesome to have:
Garfinkle Torque Brace
Differential Brace
Solid Differential Bushings
Tranny Brace
Short Shifter

Talk about solid

combine the Garfinkle Engine Brace w a Banzai diff brace and you have solid optimised drivetrain underpinnings.

love it.... also love Garf's pan brace. no oil leaks.

just wanted to show how different this brace is from the rest...these are the mounting points and the link is custom made to your FD. Not everyone uses the same mounts/pan/bracing etc.

YOUWSH ,, I sent you shipping info .For more info Call 615-893-4469 .Any one with guestions just call me . This brace works better than any of the others I have seen .Has any one with an older brace needed replacement rubber bushings ? With high Power I would think Howard Coleman would be the one to ask how the bushings are holding up .

The brace is really a bandaid for worn drivetrain mounts (front and rear) Just be carefull of excessive wheel hop. Too much of it will really stress the LIM gasket sealing surface causing you leaks down there. My rear secondary port had a major leak because of this. Healthy engine mounts, solid diff bushings, and a reinforced ppf or tranny brace will cure most if any drivetrain rotation.
