Gordon's post was in reference to Ganador's mirrors on LHD fd's. Of course your Ganador's work just fine, as they were designed for RHD cars lol

This! We here in the UK have the opposite problem with the aero mirrors on MkI Rexes... have to source them from Aus or NZ because the US ones have the wrong field of view for RHD

They're horrible to fit; instead of bolting through from outside into the captive thread the original mirrors use, they have a narrower diameter stud that slots through the captive fastener and then needs a nut screwed on from inside the door. It's really hard to reach, impossible to see and the studs have really long threads. You will lose skin and plenty of years off your life

I don't know about those, looks like ricer city. It looks like you beat the **** out of a 14 year old kid and took those off of his 82 civic, and he wasn't even upset about losing the mirrors, he came to his senses and went back to stock.

I personally like the "aero" look. Hard to call them ricey - but I was never a fan of the FD3S mirrors anyhow. They kinda seemed like an after thought.

Weren't the FC3S Turbo II mirrors similar?

Kind of is the key word there. They obviously look like the work of a knock off ricer company.

If they were the same they would look classy, maybe. Sometimes things that look good on one thing don't look good on another, even the same exact thing. Do the same pair of tights look equally good on your grandmother and a 18year old supermodel?

theres also a pic on Google of a bmw that has the first half of the mirror closes to body painted black then the other half body color. I think that would make a world of difference

It's all about execution. Slapping ganas on a mostly stock car looks ricey. Putting ganas as a finishing touch on a kitted fd adds just enough aggressiveness that the shrek ears don't have.

And you do know that ganas have been around way before an e92 right? Please tell me you do.

Ps, ebay has "knock off" versions that have LHD lenses. Just buy those if you're trying to decide on mirrors based on function.

Yes if you change every single body panel on the FD your stock side mirrors may look out of place.

Has anyone found a solution to correct the curve of the driver side mirror? I'm interested in switching up to the Ganadors, but not at the expense of function.
