G-FORCE ECU? Your opinion please.

Possibly buying g-force ecu this weekend, so I can continue modding my '93 R-!. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

And before anyone asks, yes, I have searched forum and read. Just thought some of you may have something more to say. You can't do too much homework when it comes to this stuff.

I have a g-force and I'm happy with it. I've also been told that they are tuned a little rich.

Well, that really depends on what mods you are planning on doing to your car.

The G-Force will definitely be a step up over the stock ECU no matter what.

Here's a thread with some G-Force ECU owners:

I'm assuming your buying an existing/used one, as that G-Force went out of business awhiles back - though there are rumors that somepeople involved/employeed with them are still doing ecus on the side.

Just make sure your mods matches that programmed into the ecu is all.

Can you buy a used G-Force and have any knowledgeable rotary shop tune it for your specific needs? Or does it have to be tuned by G-Force? (who went of business)
Can it hold up to cb,dp,mp,pulleys,SMIC and Intake?

Not sure. But I'm running the standard mods, Intake, DP, Apexi N1 dual. Want an upgraded ECU before I do anything else. Looking at a pre-silenced mid pipe. Then its radiator and intercooler time.
Back to the question, I hear its plug and play , kind of like a pettit. Its already programmed for the basic mods, also, this one is unlimited, or something like that. Basically I'm getting it complete, and its a hell of a lot cheaper than the Apexi, haltec, etc.

shouldnt this be in the ecu section?

i dont know how UNLIMITED it can be, the stock inj can only be maxed out 1x. in pettits ecu the inj are remapped to run at 100% duty cycle. this is what they use for the 14.7 psi application and stopped offering the "unlimited" one...makes you think, ya know? how much more can you do *safely* with the stock inj.
