Cool G-Force Unlimited or Pettit Unlimited...which one betta ??

Are they just both tuned out to the max for maximum fuel delivery or is one tuned better ?? What do you guys think?? I know they are both tuned for 14.7 psi (1 bar) and ALL chips are the same Techtron chips just programmed differently.

I think the Pettit might have better tuning maps for Slightly higher Hp.

I have one now... Does anyone know what chips that Pettit use? In comparo to the G-force? Or are they both the same?

I have the Pettit now.

Been running a G-Force unlimited for a year and a half. I was just curious if there was a perf. difference b/t the two. I know they are both setup for 1 bar, but what about timing ? That is why I posted.

Well I just bought my G-force last night. I was told that they are one of the only ones that alter ignition timing (retard at higher boost and rpms). But I could be wrong, that is just passed on from someone else.

If that's the case then I'll keep mine. I know it's one of the most aggresively tuned ECU's out along w/Pettit's unlimited.

Finally somthing I know.

FYI
I have taken my computer apart several times I know for a fact that the PETIT computer upgrade does put the timing chip in.

If they both are tuned for 1bar (14.7 psi) and Both have the program for igintion timing THEN they both should be virtually identical in performance. Anyone think otherwise ??

I don't know for a fact, but I would imagine there are some subtle differences between the programmings of the two chips.

However, I doubt they are too noticeable, and they are both better than stock no matter which one you use.

Now that's what I want to hear ! I was just wondering if by chance the Pettit unlimited offered more performance than my current G-Force. So, I will stick with what I have. Thanks for the replies all

I can tell you this
I have had a pettit ecu stage 1 13.5 lbs(later found out 14.7)for over three years never a problem
and run 12.3s with every other pettit bolt on.
I stayed away from a progamable unit as they were not readily availible at the time and also I
didn't trust myself trying to extract max.power tinkering=blown motor?
I may now have to rethink as I have reached the limits on a plug and play unit.
Pettit has however been a good outfit to deal with
