Full exhaust power and boost spike

right guys just a quick few questions,,,so far on my RX7 ive got a cat back exaust (what sort of power increase would this be giving my car).
im thinking of ditching the pre cat and main cat in favour of straight through pipes. will this make the car very loud,,,or will it be still tollerable. and what sort of power increase will both these mods give me.

right now to address boost creep ,, if i port the wastegate and fit the downpipe, mid pipe (so i.e ive got full exaust). will boost be fine,, no spikes.
cheers guys

Dont do it!!(NO mid pipe) Get rid of the pre- cat though. It will free up heat in the engine bay.You need a lot of other things done then to just port your wastgate for a mid pipe.

Extra 15-20 for the mid pipe.10-15 for a high flow cat. You definately need a e.c.u for the mid- pipe. And a good boost controler.

Yeah hold off on the mid-pipe until you get a ecu. One of the guys at the shop I go to told me that this guy brought in a FD one day and was all bumbed out because he had just put on a midpipe 2 weeks ago and was running a stock ecu. He said he felt the power increase but after driving it hard a few times, his engine went KA-BOOM. So get an ecu first... You don't want that to happen to you.

NOT FOR ANYTHING BUT THIS HAS BEEN ASKED 300 TIMES. its much easier to search....u dont wanna hear ******** like me remind u of the search button do you.

to answer your second question...full exhaust plus intake and ecu = 300 rwhp and low 12s with a good launch. mid 12s with avg launch.
