Put a restrictor plate in and/or put a manual boost controller.

BTW: Good luck with the 15psi thing

what I've heard from the shop I go to is 12 psi on the fuel pump. And I didn't mention an intercooler but that is obvious also. I think you should get one any time you go over stock boost but you can probably get away with it at 12 psi all the time and a few 14psi runs every once in a while.

With computer, intake, full exhaust, fuel pump, and intercooler running 13 psi you should be in very very low 12s maybe you'll need slicks for that maybe not.

Just purchased Dan's RE Amemiya ecu tuned for cat back, intake, mid pipe, downpipe, and intercooler. Having it overnighted, so it'll go on tomorrow. Then we're taking the car to the dyno/wideband on monday to do fine adjusting with the HKS s-afr...

Nah, just that as you start pushing the envelope with this engine you need to really have a tuner that is familiar with it. Watch those AF ratios carefully. You've got all the goodies, now go for it. Lots of guys have lost engines on the dyno. I would take a more gradual approach and do one mod at time.
Unfortunatey it takes a dyno run each time. Maybe you can do a package buy up front and save some cash.

Chuck:

Regarding the Apexi Power FC, it is a "stand-alone" ecu. It completely replaces the OEM ecu. It therefore controls all aspects of the engine -- timing, fuel, water and air temp adjustments to the above, etc. The RE ecu you just purchased is a reprogrammed stock ecu (I believe), like the Pettit and M2 ecus. These chips are safe in that there is no tuning involved, however, your upgrade path is very limited. Also, you will have to deal with the stock ecu issues of the 3k hesitation and 8-bit resolution. Many people who have upgraded to the PFC comment on how much smoother the engine runs due to the increased processing power (of course, this would be after dyno tuning and the infamous "idle break-in period"). Also, if you want to run over 12 psi daily, you should really upgrade the secondary injectors, which will require a "stand-alone" ecu like the PFC. As my uncle first said when looking at the engine of my first RX-7 (79 GS) -- "That sure as hell ain't no Chevy V-8".

Good luck with the new ecu, I doubt you'll need the S-AFR to enrichen the A/F. In the future, if you want increased flexibility, you'll be able to sell your RE ecu at little loss and get a PFC (or Haltech, AEM, etc).
