. . .

This may be the best tool I have ever bought. I used to cut the Steel AN lines with a carbon cutoff disc then fight the frayed hose ends into the AN fittings. Life is so much easier with this, and it was only $50[IMG][/IMG]
For future aluminum hard line bends, try flaring the line, packing it with table salt, then bending it over a rod. The salt will keep the line from collapsing. I use salt because I can rinse the line out afterwards and be sure there won't be any leftover debris.

And yes, those AN line cutters are nice to have. I always wrapped my lines in tape before cutting with a cutoff wheel so the frayed lines weren't a problem, but the cleaning the debris out of the lines after cutting was a PITA. With these, there's no cleaning.

What did you do to get them in the plastic loops? What I ended up doing is I changed the O-rings in the plastic rings for thinner ones, but they ended up being too thin and the pumps don't hold very solid.

Also I tried to use hard lines but the pumps are so close to the top of the CJ rail that the hardline can't seem to be able to bend two different bends and then fare them on each end... But if you managed and have a picture I would love for you to share the info

Thank you!
It was not the easiest thing, but there were much more difficult parts of this project after the pumps were in the hanger. I used some of the 2 cycle oil to lubricate the rings and the key was to heat them with a heat gun being careful not to melt them. BTW once you get the pumps in, don't even attempt to use submersible fuel hose to loop the lines like CJ suggests.

Great suggestions! Thank you guys!

I actually have it looped right now, but I don't like the setup because you can cut the fuel line trying to put in the hanger.

I ended up using these pulsation dampeners to fix those fuel pressure oscillations. You can see the one I welded to the middle of the secondary fuel rail. The primary rail had room on the end for me to add an AN T fitting to connect the second pulsation dampener.

Do you perhaps have a new log with the pulsation dampers so we could compare before and after?

I think there will be no pressure regulator that will managa to keep a steady pressure if the flow doubles within a few msec as the second pump comes online. Better would be to use some sort of PWM to stage the pumps much like the injector stagin works.
