- autotech technometer w shift lamp
- full roll bars

- RE headlights
- '99 rounded style taillights
- 17" volks racing c ultra 3 spoke mags (235 front, 255 back)
- hks hipermax 3 coilovers
- Ganador aero mirrors

If u realised, with the current setup, the engine is gonna blow if i still dont get a Power FC.

So if anyone is keen, i need to get a
- Apexi power fc + commander (414BZ004)
- Apexi black turbo timer
- Apexi Avcr + wiring/solenoids + sensors + stand
- Aftermarket aluminium rad
- Aftermarket AST

If i cant get it here, i will have to order from rx7store, its price is reasonable but im only afraid of the long wait for shipping bcoz i live in singapore., anyone with experiences here

Another technical question, with all these done, i think i can tune the stock turbo to 12psi which will get me prolly 320-350 rwhp. Do i need to upgrade my fuel pump and injectors as well, or i should monitor the duty cycle of the injectors to determine, if it hits more than 90% regularly, its time for bigger injectors, am i correct?

You would need to upgrade the fuel pump, and most likely the injectors. I had a couple other mods ontop of what you have listed and stock injectors that hit 90% in the higher rpm ranges. But its definately better safe than sorry.

upgrade and rewire the pump, you might need to do the injectors, but you might be able to get by using an adjustable FPR and just upping the pressure a little bit.

Stock twins at 12 psi is more like 290-320 rwhp. For comparison (many moons ago) I made 350 at 12 psi with BNR Stage 3 twins, which are T28 turbos. Quite a bit larger than the factory ones.

I actually pulled my BNR's apart & sent them into Garfinkle to be ported.

I realized that Bryan doesn't modify the turbine (at least size wise)

It measured out same as OEM...

looks like he only upgrades the compressors

For those mods you only maybe need a fuel pump. No injectors, no new fp reg..

I ran the stock twins on the factory pump with no issues and 12psi for over two years. (with a PFC and a tune of course)

Advice: The turbo timer is counter-productive on a rotary (you will heat soak the engine) and is a waste of money. Don't buy one. The powerFC is needed, as is the boost controller. Even with the boost controller you will more than likely experience boost creep (not spikes) and this cannot be controlled with a boost controller. Do a search on here and you will be able to find out how to prevent it.

You are very correct, you WILL lose the motor soon w/out a PFC and a good tune. Just plugging in the pfc will do very little good. Better idea, put some restriction back in the exhaust via a catalytic converter. <--this will also solve your boost creep problem..

You're speaking of the (very) old BNRs, last sold back in like 2001-2002. It's well known that the old style BNRs had upgraded compressor wheels and factory turbine wheels. This is also why they spooled almost as quickly as oem twins when set up non-seq.

All of the BNRs sold in the last ~7 years are completely new CHRAs.... T28s. Larger comp & turbine wheels and thicker shafts.

back in the day i didnt have many mods at all, full exhaust, intake, stock port, stock injectors stock turbos....

at 12 psi i was at about 95%-100% tuned, i rememeber hitting 100% only 2 times and made sure to back off until i got that fixed..(bigger injectors)..

i got 1300s now, BNR III seq 18psi hitting about 90% max.. i wanted to go to 20psi but that would of pushed it and have no room for error.. if i was smart i should of gotten 1600s so when i go single thats one less thing to worry about.

but also rewiring the fuel pump and maybe getting a aftermarket one may help, as i didnt have those when i had the 12 psi tune

Just a thought to think about, but then again all cars are different. Just thought id share my story

Nope, I've only owned my car for 3 years...

I bought my BNR's 2 years ago...

Yes, you can boost the stock twins to 14psi. But it will be closer to their limits and semi-counter productive with the amount of heat they will generate too. <--Add water/alcohol injection to help combat (you should add this anyways, see AI section of the forum). Key to turning up the boost on a rotary is a PROPER TUNE from an experienced ROTARY tuner. Not doing this is why the rotary engine has such a bad reputation for blowing easily. ie. idiot owner with no attention to detail. Don't become that guy...

Clutch, if you are looking for closer to 350 you will need a new clutch, ACT HD/XD clutches should do just fine.
